Why is sourdough bread so popular?

Organic sourdough bread is nutritious and gut friendly.  It has a long fermentation process which acts as a ‘pre-digestion’ and breaks down gluten and anti-nutrients.  It is easier to digest and supports a healthy microbiome and a lower glycemic index than conventional bread

When you care deeply about a cause, it’s powerful to find meaningful ways to support it. In Minnesota this winter — where the temperatures have plunged well below freezing — knitters have rallied around a creative form of protest: knitting red wool “Melt the ICE” hats as a symbol of solidarity with those demonstrating against recent federal immigration enforcement actions and the deaths of protesters.

These hats draw on a long tradition of using craft and art as part of activism, turning something as humble as a handmade cap into a statement of community support and compassion.  If you knit and would like to help, the patterns are being sold by the Minnesota yarn shop Needle & Skein for $5.00.

Good Housekeeping recently had a small article about 3 top-tested cleaners.  They are unusual and worth being shared here.

Scrub Daddy Power is a cleaning paste that is great on grime.  A small dab works quickly on your sink, stove top and more.  $28.99.

If your house becomes engulfed in cooking smells, this candle will replace the odors with fragrant notes of herbs, it’s like magic.  $78.00.

Therapy Clean is a plant-based formula that erases smudges and anything else on your stainless steel.  $19.95.
